courier imap server with maildir format, services imap/imaps
thunderbird 1.5, classical view, imap account to this server
courier adjusted to max 40 connections per ip

TB doesn't show subject, sender, sent-date is 1.1.1970 (error1.jpg) in the upper window
but the lower window shows all correct.
No change after restart tb, compress folder
Moving the mail to trash and back shows all correct (error1-2.jpg)
I've made a copy of that mail from the Maildir on the server before and after the move
in the, diff shows no differences.

A test with Outlook pointing to the same imap server shows the mail correct :-(

This happens nearly every day with various mails.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Dupe of bug 209501?

I don't think so: In difference to 209501, the text of that mail is shown.
Could you attach the message itself (with headers)?

More to the point: did you try the workaround described at bug 209501?
That is, did you delete the Inbox.msf file and restart TB? This problem is almost certainly not related to the message itself but to the index file.

No, I'll check on next occurence. I'll give you then an anonimized copy of that message.

The error occured today again, example of the mail created as attachment.
Stopped TB, moved the file Inbox.msf out of the folder ImapMail\server, restarted TB, all ok.

The file Inbox.msf is available for further analysis, but not public!
