The Browser intermittently "jumps", and my Bookmarks are GONE!

I opened up my browser, it was kind of jumping. This went away after I closed it and re-opened it.
Worse is that my bookmarks are GONE! Will I be able to retrieve them? is there a way to do that? will you show me how if their is?

You should be able to get your bookmarks back though, unless they were corrupted or deleted.
Just search your system for 'bookmarks' files . It'll maybe find several html files, including some backup files, and some non-mozilla files.
If you find the bookmark file you want (just open it in a browser to check), you can start firefox, then choose to import the bookmarks. Probably you'll have some duplicate entries, which you'll then want to delete.
