Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 1.0.6 (20050716) I have many important messages divided by folders. The tree is very long and browsing it takes time. It would be great if a folder name could change color if it contains labeled messages. Example: + |-- <red> my project ( 4) </red> | |--- <orange> todo </orange> | '-- transfer log (12) The only problem i see is choosing folder's color when it contains more messages with >= 2 labels. Reproducible: Always
Don't agree with folder coloring. Since a number of different labels are defined, we'd end up with rainbows. Wojciech - btw, your Tb is quite old. Get an update (1.5.0.1); it's worthwhile. In particular for your problem: You can search for a label and then save your search as a "Saved Search" folder always readily accessible, allowing you to avoid opening every single folder or to always manually define a new search for these "little buggers" you're after. See, e.g. http://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Help_Documentation:Menu_Reference#New_Saved_Search... (couldn't find a better link but this really works intuitively...) I hope you agree a) after looking into latter option and b) considering your own reservations towards your suggestion (>=2 labels) that this request has not much of a future and is rather to be considered as "unwanted behaviour". I will close it accordingly as INVALID. However, if you do feel this doesn't do the problem justice, do report back and ask for it to be reopened. Regards, Cigno
