I'm about to attach a favicon and test page that appears in location box, but not in bookmarks. Save the two files I'm about to attach in your server root.

Used: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">

I'm not sure what the issue is, so I'm not sure if this is a dupe of anything. I didn't file it under Core because I'm not sure if this is an issue the FF branch introduced.

I didn't see any bug at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120352 or in the bug list when doing a regular search that told me what was going on.

My only guess of what the issue could be is that this file uses multiple resolutions from what I remember. I created using Axialis Icon Workshop.

The server is returning mime type image/x-icon

I checked if it was the alpha channel, but verified it was in fact the icon size. I'm taking down the test URL.
