Hey all.

I got an mail marked as "scam" and normaly I wanna leave it marked as "scam" cause I wanna leave it in my inbox and when I'm open it to the second I will have it marked as "scam" still. But I must put the "Not a Scam"-button to get get the "Show Images"-button. I think the "Show Images"-button should be there even there is the "Scam"-button. Is this possible?
I have noticed this also. Previously, there was a "SHOW IMAGES" option for web mail. Thunderbird would normally not show images until you clicked this button.

In the new version, the "SHOW IMAGES" button doesn't appear and is replaced with a "NOT A SCAM" button. This is fine, but when clicking the "NOT A SCAM" button, images are still not displayed.

Solution: Either add two buttons or make "NOT A SCAM" show images for the message.

Loading images in a real scam e-mail might confirm your e-mail address as reading the mail; I would be strongly against having both buttons available. However, there should be a way to re-enable images *after* the message has been marked as not-a-scam by the user.
AFAIR, when you click "Not a Scam", I get the "show images" button.

I'm pretty unclear what the use case is here. A 2 step process to see the images of an email marked a scam is an excellent "speed bump" to prevent mistakes that can't be undone. If the message is incorrectly marked scam I can understand you might want to unmark it all the way quickly, but we can't do that for the safety of mis-clicks and other user mistakes.

I'm going to mark this wontfix.

If there is more information or you feel this is an error in judgment then please reopen this bug with a description of what you're trying to do. It's certainly possible to write an extension for yourself that does this kind of action in a single button, we just can't make that the default. Thanks for understanding!
