Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060219 Firefox/1.6a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060219 Firefox/1.6a1 Ever since the check-in that placed the close button on each and every tab, dragging and dropping a URL onto a given tab (in the tab bar) no longer loads the page in the tab on which the URL is dropped. Instead, it opens a new tab and loads the page in that new tab. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://www.mozillazine.org/ 2. Drag and drop any of the URLs on the active tab (i.e. in the tab bar, but on your active tab - not on an empty region in the tab bar and not on the displayed page). Notice that URL gets loaded in a new tab. 3. Compare this behavior with Fx 1.5.0.1 (and earlier). Actual Results: Page gets loaded in a new tab. Expected Results: Page should have loaded within the tab on which the URL was dropped. Using the installer distribution. If you use the .zip distribution, YMMV
