Dwayne, I need some clarification. #l10n mentioned some 10 locales involved,
do you speak all of those languages?
Ownership for a locale is mostly there for me to be able to have a contact point
that can fix stuff, which requires language skills in that area.
From what I hear on #l10n, this sounds much more like you'd be a peer to at
least some of those locales.
Some of my ideas on ownership are on http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Ownership, but
that document is not complete.
I'll be happy to follow up on this in an email conversation, too, spamming this
bug may not be the best place to find out what you want and need, and how that
maps to the things Mozilla wants and needs. Such a pity that I couldn't comment
as well as I would have hoped during FOSDEM.

Zulu localisation for 1.5 TN and FF
Just to clarify, we want localizers to request approval-l10n, though we're not saying anywhere. Just to make sure that nobody mistakes me requesting approval for the radar is by design.

Please use the up-to-date help content. I haven't found a whole lot more than the
copyright fixes there, but still.
I'm not sure that localizing just help/platformStrings.dtd inside help is the
right thing to do.
http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla1.8.0/source/browser/locales/en-US/chrome/help/popup.xhtml#68
would read
The Popup Blocker Ongakhethakuzo are located in the Content panel of Amathulusi > Ongakhethakuzo.
Sounds odd to me. I'm tempted to say "pootle bug: support mozilla help".
Nit, some entities in that file didn't change really, but got reformated.
Does pootle cope well with multiple line entities?
http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla1.8.0/source/browser/locales/en-US/chrome/help/platformStrings.dtd#26
and following are the ones I talk about.
updater/updater.ini is missing, too. pootle bug?
searchplugins and bookmarks.html still need to be localized, too, cf
http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Firefox_Trademark_Review and
http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Firefox_Extras
(Sorry, both pages need to be merged into one real one).
I did a more intense review than I usually do, which is good, as it may uncover
some problems in the po-based approach that need to be documented there.
Vouching, marcia, did you receive the form for Dwayne?
Should we have a separate bug for Friedel?

I should be using the most up to date help as I'm simply pulling it from en-US CVS

I see the problem and will give it some thought. Not sure if pure English is the right answer, since menu's will be in Zulu. But mixed language is in itself odd. I will canvas some opinions and make a decision.

Actually we've just added html2po inot the moz2po set so we should be able to do that shortly.
> Nit, some entities in that file didn't change really, but got reformated.

Yes it does but reduces them to single lines

Yes its a moz2po bug that I'm looking into.

Will check these.

Thanks for your effort, its really appreciated and will have long term net positive results for you as the issues should not recur once we fix them.

Marcia, this can go over to IT.
IT, first key (attachement 214934) is for Dwayne Bailey, dwayne@translate.org.za
IT, do you need a separate bug for Friedel? If not, the second key (attachement 216042) is for Friedel Wolff, friedel@translate.org.za
