User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 When typing a misspelling and you space the word is underlined if you use the mouse to right click and select the correct spelling the cursor is placed behind the now corrected word. If you hit space nothing appears to happen, hit space again and a space appears but when you type the next word it is actually double spaced. This will occur for the rest of the message. So when using the above method for correction a single space key hit on the keyboard is not reflected in the message window by the cursor. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type a misspelled word and hit space so it is red underlined by the spell checker 2. Use the mouse, right click on the misspelled word and select the correct one 3. The cursor is now visible just behind the corrected word, hit space Actual Results: The cursor stays in the same location Expected Results: The cursor should move one space to the right of the corrected word
Duplicate of bug 281663?
I agree about the dupe, but I can't reproduce the problem in 1.5.0.5 or 2a1-0901, Win2K. Russell Benedict, can you provide a more specific set of steps to reproduce?
No response, duping.
