It would be nice to have an option to dump the URLs of all open windows into a text file. This would be useful in several situations: 1. Laptop tells you you're low on batteries, but copying each url takes time. 2. Lights go out, but you have a UPS that lasts for one minute. 3. Looking at porn, mom comes home, but you have some good sites open. 4. Browsing during lunch at school, bell rings, want to e-mail URLs to self. Bookmarking each page (manually or automatically) isn't an ideal solution (see #4 and #3), and there's no easy way to delete them.
I filed two additional RFEs to allow for opening URLs from these text files: - Bug 33334, hyperlink URLs in *.txt - Bug 33335, option to "open all links from this page in new windows"

This strikes me as a fringe case that should be very low priority (at least) and fairly well hidden, if implemented at all. Keep the clutter count down! Reassigning to German for comment.

low/no priority for us. But would be a good add-on feature for somebaody to develop at mozilla.org. Reassigning to ben for consideration.

QA Assigning non-confidential New/Assigned User Interface: Design Feedback bugs to Matthew Thomas (mpt@mailandnews.com). Matthew Thomas is now the QA owner for the User Interface: Design Feedback component. (Bugs that involve UI issues in the Netscape-branded Mozilla browser should continue be QA assigned to elig@netscape.com.)

Adding helpwanted keyword. ben@netscape.com might like to assign this to nobody@mozilla.org. Gerv

Chaning the qa contact on these bugs to me. MPT will be moving to the owner of this component shortly. I would like to thank him for all his hard work as he moves roles in mozilla.org...Yada, Yada, Yada...

I like this. I don't see it being added anywhere prominent, but maybe part of the bookmarks manager.

I think this would be better served by an extension, although it might make sense for the "copy" command of a bookmark group to copy the uris of the contained bookmarks to the clipboard as the textual representation, or in the case of drag and drop, dragging same.

The Bookmark All Tabs command does this.
Session Manager (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2324/) can export an open session to a new file. You can use Nightly Tester Tools (http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/web/firefox/nightly) to make it work in Firefox 2.0. It also auto-saves your session, so you can just close the browser. You may also wish to try http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

As noted in comment 13, Bookmark All Tabs covers these use cases for the most part. Other than that, it seems more like an add-on feature than something that needs to be supported in the browser.
