I follow the instructions for enable Gmail pop in Thunderbird, but Thunderbird report an error mensaje: connection to server pop.gmail.com timed out.
Reproducible: Always
Operatin system Windows Xp
pentium 3
I don't have an active antivirus or firewall
I have The Callendar installed
Settings Server name pop.gmail.com port 995 default 110 (it could'nt changed)
use segure connection ssl
Smtp work very well

Maybe you had some network problems? Also, have you enabled pop access in the gmail settings (on the gmail web page)?
