334351 - Tooltip from thread pane appears in other windows

When you open a standalone or compose window, or the Message Filters window and doubtless others, such that it's located with an edge overlying the subject column of the thread pane, then moving the mouse cursor from the thread pane into that window can cause a tooltip to show within the new window.  This tooltip shows the subject of the message that underlies the point where the cursor crossed into the new window, and it is placed as if the cursor were at that point, even if the cursor has been moved to the middle of the window.

After moving the mouse again to clear the tip, no additional tooltips will be shown until the cursor is moved into the thread pane, then back onto the secondary window.  The tooltip only shows if the underlying message would normally show a tooltip -- that is, if the subject is truncated by the width of the Subject column.

Note that if the cursor is brought to rest on an element which has its own tooltip, both tooltips will be displayed at once, altho they don't pop up at 
the same instant.

TB 1.5.0.2-0324, 2a1-0416, 3a1-0412, Win2K.
Does not happen in TB 1.0.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Select a folder displaying a number of truncated-subject messages
2) Open a compose or other window
3) Place the left edge of the window such that it overlies the subject column
   (right, top or bottom edges exhibit the problem too, but it's easier to
   reproduce from the left)
4) Hover the mouse cursor above one of the messages; observe tooltip
   (step 4 not necessary to reproduce bug)
5) Move cursor up or down to a different (truncated-subject) message, then to
   the right to cross into the new window, then pause; observe tooltip
6) Move cursor again, then pause; observe (lack of) tooltip

Actual results:
5) Tooltip pops up at crossover point, showing the subject of the message below
   the crossover point.

Expected results:
5) No tooltip.

This happens on Mac too, still, in the latest nightly of Shredder. It's making playing World of Warcraft tonight tricky :)

Also, on the Mac, this happens even if you're hidden Thunderbird using the "Hide" option in the Dock.
