We're interested in having statistics for the Lightning and Sunbird downloads, at least for releases.  As I understand it, the way we make this happen to is to have the downloads go through bouncer.  Is this correct?  If so, what do we need to do to make that happen?

Yeah, we can add lightning/sunbird to Bouncer.

Which platforms/versions do you want to offer up?

Windows, Linux, and Mac.  Versions probably should include Lightning 0.1, Sunbird 0.2, 0.3a1, and the soon-to-be-released 0.3a2.  It might be informative to have calendar extension builds in there as well; I'll leave it to someone else to chime in about which version(s) would be most appropriate there.

I have added Lightning 0.1 and Sunbird 0.2, 0.3a1, and 0.3a2 to bouncer so you can track downloads. The following are the links you would use to point to them:

For Sunbird 0.2, should the win32 build point to Sunbird-0.2-win32.zip or SunbirdSetup-0.2.exe.

For Sunbird 0.2, should the linux build point to sunbird-0.2-i686-linux-gtk2+xft.tar.gz or sunbird-0.2-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz?

Let me know when Lightning 0.3 and Sunbird 0.3 comes out and I will add them as well.

per bug 360811, firefox users will mostly be installing "Windows.htm" into thunderbird to try out lightning for the foreseeable future afaict :(
