Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060214 Camino/1.0 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 (Macintosh/20060308) Some mail client/server combinations (e.g. Outlook/Exchange) will sometime send out messages with base64 encoded bodies, instead of clear-text, not sure why. Thunderbird display such messages just fine, but if you search for a string contained in the base64 encoded body of one of the messages, TB won't find it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have someone send you a message with a base64 encoded body. 2. Download the message to your Thunderbid mailbox. 3. Search with TB for a string contained in the message body. Actual Results: TB doesn't show the message in question in the search results window. Expected Results: TB should include the message in question in the search results window.
