my home page is google, when i try and enter something into the search field (on page, NOT bar) the "find word" feature of firefox kicks in and prevents anything from being entered into the search field. if i turn the feature off in the firefox options, then re-enable it, problem fixed until i return to google. ONLY A PROBLEM IN SOLO WINDOW, no tabs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to www.google.com
2.after page loads, cursor automatically in search field, begin typing. alternatively, mouse click in field, begin typing
3. turn "begin search when start typing" off. ok. turn it back on, ok. problem solved until google re-loaded
4. SOLO WINDOW ONLY

Actual Results:  
word search field open, no entry in search field

Expected Results:  
entry in google's search field

I enabled FAYT, loaded 4 windows with each www.google.com in it but did not see this problem. Could type rightaway in it.
Can you also reproduce this in Firefox's safe-mode or with a new profile?

This is a known issue.  It should apparently happen less often if you disable "Search for text when I start typing".
