Open an ICS file from Mozilla Calendar extension. A pop-up alret window opens for each event in the ICS file. Lots of little alerts on the screen.

This page gives some useful hints on how to write a good bug report. For example it is not clear what you expect how Sunbird should behave or do in this situation. So I assume you want a pink elephant icon displayed on every of this windows? :-)

Apart from that this looks like a duplicate of Bug 276585.
