Most mailing lists at https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo have no description. They ought to have one so that people can tell what they're for. Note that the list at http://www.mozilla.org/community/developer-forums.html does have descriptions.

Each list owner can update the description for each list that he/she runs.

would be easy enough to script.  about 80% of them are "[e-mail]" though, which is effectively "no owner".

Does that mean no-one can edit the descriptions? Isn't there a super-admin account which can edit them all?

Yep. I can share the login for that with you if you'd like (thought you already had it actually).

Or if someone has a list of descriptions, Reed or I can probably go through and enter them all.
