User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) Build Identifier: thunderbird 1.5 and mozilla 1.7.... for several months now when attempting to add new contacts to an existing mail list in mozilla mail, the contacts are accepted, appear momentarily in the list then simply vanish. i've downloaded the latest thunderbird email program thinking i could get a fresh start only to have the exact same scenario repeat itself. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open mail program 2.open addressbook 3.select list 4. click on NEW CARD 5. type in info 6. click OK 7. name appears in window 8. check list, name disappears Expected Results: new data appears sorted alphabetically in window and remains there permanently
This is a duplicate of bug 117836. To add a contact to a mailing list you currently either have to go into the mailing list and type in the address, or drag a contact from the address book (in the right hand list pane) to the mailing list (in the left hand list pane). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 117836 ***
