Why did you take away the CNTL+ENTER functionality as it existed in early versions of the Mozilla browsers?

I used to be able to copy an address from some place, click on the address bar in the browser, hit CNTL-v to paste the address, then just keep the <control> depressed and hit the <enter> button, and it would automatically open the address in a new tab.

Now CNTL-<enter> has been replaced with functionality to complete addresses that are missing www. and .com in them and open them in the same tab, thus taking away the nicest little piece of functionality any web browser ever had. :(

Reproducible: Always

As documented in http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/keyboard , Ctrl+Enter auto-completes the address for parity with Internet Explorer. You can use Alt+Enter in the location bar to open the address in a new tab.
