User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060313 Fedora/1.5.0.1-9 Firefox/1.5.0.1 pango-text
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060313 Fedora/1.5.0.1-9 Firefox/1.5.0.1 pango-text
Seemingly naive-- but everything under the description of the java plugin in the about:plugins page says 'Enabled', even though a bool key (security.enable_java) can be set to false in about:config, which can be misleading to diagnosing if java is really enabled or not.
Reproducible: Always
I may have stubbornly, in the very far past and not remembering I did, set this bool key to false- but the about:plugins should reflect the Java section as saying disabled.

Not sure of the proper component but the EM doesn't have anything to do with this so Firefox -> General for triage
Component: Extension/Theme Manager → General
QA Contact: extension.manager → general

dupe of 'About:plugins "Enabled" column should be "Handled"'. see that bug for further discussion.
