This morning when I opened a new build of Firefox I was surprised by my different looking menu-items. When I opened the bookmarks-menu a very ugly hover trail in the color ButtonFace was left behind. When I moved my mouse outside the popup, the original white color came back.
I'll attach a screenshot.
It turned out to be the line -moz-appearance: menupopup; in my theme.
It happens only in Cairo and the behaviour changed only some hours ago: between 1.9a1_2006060515 and 1.9a1_2006060521.
Steps to reproduce:
- Put this in userChrome.css:
menupopup,
popup {
-moz-appearance: menupopup !important;
}
- Open a Firefox menu and hover over the items.
If this is WONTFIX I would not have an objection because I did not know what to do with these findings anyway :(

Nope, definitely not WONTFIX; this was caused by some native theme breakage that I'm trying to track down. Same bug as 340517, though.
