User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 The History menu has lost some of the functionality that was predent in the old Go menu. Reproducible: Always In 1.5, opening a link in a tab shows a URL in the Go menu, does not in Minefield.
I think this is the design. I recall that the Fx3 History menu currently shows basically the same thing as the drop-down next to the back button (current tab only). How this works depends kind of on how we expect people to use it. The cross-tab history is nice for people that know it's there, but I think even most relatively advanced users don't use it. The per-tab might be better for novices. It's too early to worry too much about this. The behavior should be designed for who we think will mostly use the menu, which will probably become more evident later.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
