[hit the dang enter key]

hanging hangs with high cpu immediately upon entering newsgroup, sometimes on clicking a news item in the newsgroup.  Files to follow.  0060602 worked. failed with version 3 alpha 1 (20060608). reproducible 100% 

renamed .msf files of the affected newsgroups and access is now OK

I am experiencing the same effect. Specifically, being subscribed to the tomcat-user-digest mail list, TB hangs each time I double-click on any of the messages of the received digests.

As I actively participate in several mail lists, this bug is very annoying.

I forgot to mention that my settings are Windows XP SP2, and Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 (20060516). Reproducible 100%, even if started without plugins.
