thanks to pavlov for pointing this out. i see this on winNT [opt comm,
2000.03.31.09] and linux [opt mozilla, 2000.03.31.11]. unable to test on today's
mac bits.
to repro,
1. open Preferences
2. select Composer category
3. try to dropdown the color picker in the Composer panel
results: you can't.
apparently this affects all color pickers --so feel free to reassign to the
appropriate component.

and since pav is checking in a new one
i will assign it to him

color pickers work, popups don't...

oh, nice! verified on winNT and linux [opt comm bits 2000.04.06.10]. still
waiting for a Mac, tho'...

okay, the new color picker can be displayed on the mac, but i cannot select the
color... i'll verify this and open a separate one for the mac...
