Need tinderboxen to build ff+xr on trunk. These can be VM clones or multi-tinderbox on an existing box. Each of these boxes needs to have a JDK installed.
After some additional release-script work (post-mozilla), the current trunk XR tinderboxen can disappear.

FWIW, windows is most important, and linux/mac (slightly) less important.

This is the tinder-config I'm currently using: all packaging/release stuff needs to be disabled, since it doesn't actually work.

This is the mozconfig I'm using (windows)... you don't need the --enable-extensions line any more. Not sure why I had to disable activex

These config files have been checked in (with suitable changes for use on the VM) under mozilla/tools/tinderbox-configs/firefox/win32 on the XR_APPS branch.
The Windows build is now running on the fxexp-win32-tbox and is reporting to the MozillaExperimental tinderbox tree.

Coop:
Can we resolve this now?

still need mac/linux builds. The modern linux build (with the new GCC4.2-based VM is especially important to determine whether libxul will have performance costs.

We have the Linux ref VM with the right compiler now, who wants to take this? :)

I'll find room on one of the Intel xserves this week and get a Mac build setup.
bsmedberg: any changes to the configs above to get this working on Mac (aside from the obvious UB stuff)?

ac_add_app_options browser --enable-extensions=default,-inspector should no longer be necessary, but I can certainly fix that in CVS after the box is set up.

Don't you need to --enable-places --enable-places-bookmarks if you don't want it to just start burning?

Just realized that the mac ff-xr is going to require some build work: right now the UB build system and the FF-XR build system will conflict with eachother. It's going to require some flight.mk/unify hackery at least.

Looks like the ff+xr win32 tbox is consistently broken, so gonna resolve this fixed for now.
Benjamin: feel free to reopen this if/when you want Linux/Mac builds and Win32 is building. :-P
