right click on a mail message and then menu selection causes crash

I repeatably get a crash (seg fault) if I:
1. Select a mail message so it displays in the bottom pane.
2. Right click on the entry in the subject column of the top pane
3. Select a menu item (say the Edit menu, but works with Search etc)
I'm using build id:2000040109
The last output from run-mozilla.sh is:
X Pos: 327
Y Pos: 141
.//run-mozilla.sh: line 29: 4112 Segmentation fault $prog ${1+"$@"}
The seg fault does not always have the same number prefixing it, and about 1 in
six times it is necessary to repeat the 'right click, select menu' process.
I think this is a dup of some of the bugs with changing the column headers in
the thread pane.

I don't think this is a dup of those bugs because this crash is NOT mail/news
specific. You can reproduce the bug in the browser by doing this:
1: Launch the browser
2: Wait for mozilla.org to load
3: Right-click for the context menu anywhere on the context area
4: Release
5: Click any menu item (View, Debug, File, etc.)
6: Mozilla dumps core
Recommend changing status to NEW (this is important to prevent dupes, as
UNCONFIRMED is not in the default search), and moving target to M15. This is
basic functionality.
BTW I confirmed this bug on Build 2000040209 i686-pc-linux-gnu.
do you have a bug written up on browser for this?

No, there is no bug on browser for this. Reassign where it is necessary, but
all of the products show the same behavior: right click + menu click == crash
almost anywhere in Mozilla's display. This is almost certainly related to the
fact that the context popup menu does not even appear anymore. I'll see if
there is a bug for that and file one today if necessary.
BTW, I looked over every bug that contains "right" or "menu" and I don't think
this one is a dupe.

Yeah looks like a dupe. Bugzilla is damn hard to search when people use things
like "right-click" with a hyphen, or contextual instead of context. Grump.
