After having the popup blocker blocked several popups, I closed the notification. After that, I opened a new tab, and then went back to the previous tab, to have the notification back.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have firefox block a popup. (Clicking on a profile player of myspace works: myspace.com/sicnarf)
2. Close the popup notification.
3. Open a new tab.
4. Come back to the previous tab.

Actual Results:  
The notification is back.

Expected Results:  
The notification shouldn't be there.

This is actually incredibly frustrating since if a user has explicitly dismissed the notification, it shouldn't return.
