Seen using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1b1) Gecko/20060710 Firefox/2.0b1. Asa has seen on the Intel Mac as well. Not seeing this on Windows.

STR:

1. Open up enough tabs to get the overflow scroll.
2. Observe that the ellipses in the individual tabs leave cruft. Mousing back and forth over them will cause them to disappear as well.

Screenshot coming.

I'm able to reproduce this.

I think it is related to bug #343251, and it feels like a painting issue, but that's my wild guess.

Marcia, does it also fix the problem for you?
Haven't seen this for quiet a long time on 1.9.1 or 1.9.2. Marking as verified fixed for both branches.
