User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b1) Gecko/20060710 Firefox/2.0b1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b1) Gecko/20060710 Firefox/2.0b1 When you're on the last tab in a tab browsing session, pretty Ctrl-W on that tab exhibits some odd behavior. It used to be that press Ctrl-W on the last tab would close the browser window. It would be really nice to continue working this way. Now when Ctrl-W is pressed, you'll note that the tab just turns into being completely empty (with no address bar) and a close box appears where there was none before. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable tabbed browsing so that the last tab is not hidden. 2. Open a single tab (www.cnn.com will do) 3. Note that the tab is open with no close box. 4. Press Ctrl-W Actual Results: The tab turns into (Untitled) and a close box appears on the tab, even though it's the lone tab. Expected Results: I would expect that the window would close.
This is actually a double dupe: bug 341067 for the first part and Bug 343422 for the second part *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 343422 ***
