Language setting for console: LANG=en_US.UTF-8

mozilla-thunderbird-bin -compose "to=[e-mail],subject='okay then',attachment='file:///home/kjøttleif/mor sine kjøttkaker smaker best.txt'"

The "ø" causes mozilla to throw up a **** message: "temporary blah blah ... check your settings blah blah blah".

Running the exact same commandline, without any non-english characters works fine.

This looks like a dupe of bug 208363, but in fact it WORKSFORME in Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 (20060615), though not in trunk seamonkey.

Reporter, what version of thunderbird are you using? I believe this has been fixed since 1.4

I would not have filed a bug-report for an un-updated version.
