User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 When receiving a S/MIME signed mail that contains a £ charcter in the body the signature is invalid. Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type £ in the message body. 2. Sign the mail. 3. Send the mail. Actual Results: The digital signature is invalid. Expected Results: The digital signature is valid. The message body of the mail in the sent items folder contains "£" but the message body of the mail in my inbox contains "=A3".
I've got exactly the same problem in Thunderbird 1.5.0.7
Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies? (1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is 2.0.0.16)
Whiteboard: closeme 2008-08-28
The issue no longer occurs in 2.0.0.16
