scroll doesn't work in comboboxes in Preferences->Appearance->Fonts. I am unable
to choose most of the fonts installed on the system.

The first time one starts edit/preferences/fonts, the little arrows pointing

downwards, that one usually see on dropdown boxes, are now "minuses" till you

move the cursor over them. Then they "refresh" and display as arrows. [2000-040520]

Yup, confirming that (tree build from 2000-04-06). Also, change from "Western"
to "Central European" causes a clean quit.
