should ctrl+o of messages in the drafts folder open the compose window, and not the stand alone msg window?
here's what I was trying to do:
1) go drafts
2) select all messages
3) ctrl+o
actual results: messages opened in stand alone msg windows
desired results: messges opened in compose windows

And when multiple messages are selected, the "Open in new window" item is missing from the context menu.

It should be pretty easy to re-map the open command to open in a compose window for the drafts folder. I think we just need to make a decision on what the expected behavior is.
does "open Message" mean open in a stand alone message window or does it mean open in a compose window for editing? I'm could go either way.

double clicking currently means "edit in the compose window", so I would think "open message" should be the same.

On the other hand, I always want the option to open a draft or template in a standalone message, if for no other reason than to be able to view the message source while testing. If this remains available thru *some* option -- even a hidden shortcut, such as Ctrl+Shift+O -- I'd be happy.

Makes sense to me. What do you think? Too disruptive?

Makes sense to me too. The double-click behavior is a good reason.
