User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.5) Gecko/20060731 Ubuntu/dapper-security Firefox/1.5.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.5) Gecko/20060731 Ubuntu/dapper-security Thunderbird/1.5.0.5 When setting an exception for a repeated event, the date changes to the previous date once the calendar view has been changed (i.e from week 28 to week 29, or from week view to month view). So if you set an exception for 2006/09/13, it will be changed to 2006/09/12. This error only seems to occur once, with the date never changing further. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create repeating event. 2. Add an exception for this event. 3. Commit the changes 4. Change the calendar view (from week to month, or from one week to another) 5. Edit the event. Exception will now be one date earlier. Actual Results: Exception date moves to date previous to that it was initially set as. Expected Results: The exception date should keep the value it was initially set to.
Sunbird or Lightning? What version and build id?
It's in Lightning 0.1, build 2006031006.
Ok. The UI for exceptions in the recurrence dialog was removed in bug 239431. Therefore this problem no longer exists in current builds.
