In cases where a user has multiple accounts on a single mail server, the error dialogue box provides insufficient feedback regarding the source of the problem.
For simplicity, assume two servers and three accounts:
server1.example.com - Account A
server2.example.com - Account B
server2.example.com - Account C
When using "Get all new messages" if an error occurs on server one then the source account is obvious, however, if the error comes from one of the accounts on server2, then it's not clear which account has a problem.
The error message reads: "Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server server2.example.com responded: Username and password not accepted."
So it could be either account.
If the error message specified which account the error related to it would be more useful, i.e.: "Sending of Account B password did not succeed. Mail server server2.example.com responded: Username and password not accepted."
It's a trivial addition but it would make understanding the source of the problem a lot clearer.
Reproducible: Always
