Game no longer works. It worked a few builds ago. Currently identifies as application/octet stream. Says plugin unknown. Game works still in IE.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to http://www.thatvideogamesite.com/play.php?id=392
2. Site displays broken media icon

Actual Results:
Site displays broken media icon

Expected Results:
Site plays game

In IE it says About Adobe Flash and not About Adobe Shockwave. Unsure as to whether this is correct behavior.

Are you sure that it worked a few builds ago? I tried the first build of every month in 2006 but could only find a regression in January. Is works however in branch so maybe you're confusing builds?

Regression between 1.9a1_2006012714 and 1.9a1_2006012723:
http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?module=PhoenixTinderbox&date=explicit&mindate=2006-01-27+13%3A00&maxdate=2006-01-28+00%3A00

Maybe Bug 296749.
Blocks: 296749
This is the source of the plugin:
<embed src="http://www.thatvideogamesite.com:81/9401f5047f034c377096cf262aa72da5.swf" quality="high" loop="false" allowscriptaccess="never" height="480" width="640">
And the plugin wizard tells me the plugin file has application/octet-sream as mime-type.
This reminds me of bug 347736.
I have been using only Minefield latest nightly builds as my regular browser by installing over previous installs. Apparently something stuck from when it was working, because builds that did work now fail. Start of failure seems to have coincided with installing "Flash" to get content on another site working. I seem to remember getting that installer by following the link here: http://www.toonamijetstream.com/gen/requirements/index.html
Rerunning an earlier installer for "Shockwave" doesn't seem to correct the problem. I tried uninstalling both, and then running the installer.
