Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.5-15 i586; en-US; m14) BuildID: 2000040708 The status bar throbber seems to always paint outside its bounds or have positioning problems. Usually it's only slightly outside its bounds, but sometimes it seems to think that it's supposed to be painting a much larger area. Screen shots of xmag'd bar at URL above. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Load a page 2. 3. Actual Results: Throbber overpaints its bounds or doesn't seem to be positioned properly. The case case where it "way overpaints" is not always reproducible but does happen fairly often.
Hm...I'm not seeing this bug, but then again I'm running 2000040815 on Win95B.

I am not sure this is a dupe as the throbber is in the top right. The bug this is maked a dupe of refers to the progress bar in the bottom of the screen. The throbber is at the top of the screen. CCing borto@pacbell.net, maybe he knows something I don't befor taking dupe resolution off.
I think what the reporter refers to as "throbber" is what we usually call "progress bar". The pictures at the URL provided by the reporter show indeed the progress bar (at the bottom left of the screen) going out of its boundaries, not the throbber at the upper right.
