Details

Most email programs that I've used offer this ability. When you wish to reply to a message, you can select the text you want to quote, and then choose the Reply option. Only the highlighted text is quoted into the new message window. This is a great way to make conversations by email easier to follow, by enabling users to more easily trim cruft from their replies.
