Details

The label that appears under the Mark button should indicate what the default action will be if the icon is simply clicked.  It should say "Mark Read" if clicking it will mark a message as read, for example.

That sounds reasonable.  It seems to just says "Mark Messages" right now even if you're hovering over one of the popup menu items.

I don't think this will get much priority without a patch.
Patches welcome, but I can't see this as a priority for 3.
