User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Thunderbird Was using Thunderbird seemlessly with my old computer. Just got a new PC with Windows XP and downloaded Thunderbird version 1.5.0.7. Norton allows it, as does Zone Alarm firewall. Still it will received but not send mail. Reproducible: Always
What happens when you try to send? Also, an smtp protocol log might help: http://www.mozilla.org/quality/mailnews/mail-troubleshoot.html#smtp
Version: unspecified → 1.5
I have recently installed Thunderbird 1.5 on my computer and I receive emails just fine sending is another story. I cannot send at all but the computer next to my work area can. I followed all the directions i was given by my co-worker and some from the internet and still nothing. I am using windows 2000 but it wont let me change that in this field.
Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies? (1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is now 2.0.0.16)
