354070 - Typing fast in location bar makes autocomplete fail

STR:
1. Go to www.gmail.com (even though it redirects)
2. Type, in the location bar, "gmail" really fast

Results:
Autocomplete doesn't show at all.

If I type "gmail" slowly (one letter at a time), it shows up just fine. This is only a problem when typing fast.

Håkan said he saw this too, so filing as NEW and assigning to him. :)

Sam, I think this might be the same as bug 354018. I can't repro it with that patch attached.

I think the reason "gmail" works is that www.gmail.com redirects you to www.google.com/<lots of stuff here>, and we strip "www.", so gmail will mostly only give one result to most people.

I just checked in the fix for bug 354018. Let me know if anyone can reproduce this in a new nightly.

I only saw this when "fast typing" things that had only one result (e.g. planet.m.o once I typed fast enough to get past 'p'), and cvs up'ing my trunk build made things work again.

Someone verify with the official nightly, then dupe to bug 354018 (and clear the blocking nominations here).
