In the French translation, in Tools/Options/Advanced button 'Change Update Channel' was not translated

There is no such option in the latest Firefox 2 build, maybe it's part of some extension?

I stand corrected: it's Update Channel Selector.

Bu then, shouldn't extensions be in the language of the browser? Any control?

It's up to the extension author to provide the translated strings within the xpi package. If there isn't any translation matching the current browser locale, the extension will simply fall back to english.

If you want that string to be in French, you should probably contact mossop (the extension author).

Adding fixed1.8.1 keyword, as there are check-ins with a corresponding bugnumber.

Please make sure that the bugs are VERIFIED, and if so, change the fixed1.8.1 keyword to verified1.8.1.
