User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 When labelling a message (say, as "important") or flagging it, the mark is visible as long as the view is not threaded. When switching to threaded view, and the thread is not expanded, it is impossible to tell there's a labelled/flagged message inside the thread. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Switch to threaded view 2. Mark a single message as "important" inside a thread 3. Un-expand the thread Actual Results: See "details"... Expected Results: For flagged messages, I think that showing the little flag icon in the view (if the "Flag" field is enabled) would work. For labelled messages, the solution is probably to add another color, that will be used to mark the thread (note: only in un-expanded view) as "labelled messages inside". That way you can skim fast through a mail folder, see a thread that you previously labelled a specific message in, expand it (that's when the "generic" color on the thread itself is vanishing), and view the labelled messages with their original color. This isn't really a "bug" but rather a user-interface enhancement I'd consider very useful. :)
