User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060915 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Flock/0.7.5.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060915 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Flock/0.7.5.1 Flash is randomly not loading/displaying. Usually the first time I hit the page it shows, but if I open a new tab and go to it the flash does not load. When I view the source I can see the flash code there, but the movie is not loading. The flash right-click menu doesn't even show when I right click the area it should be in. I'm using SWFObject to embed the flash, but I've also tried just straight HTML object/embed code. This issue is also occuring in Flock. I am using Firefox 1.5.0.7. You can test this yourself by going here and clicking the "Activate Lightbox" link. The lightbox contains an iFrame which is loading the flash. This is the only situation I have encourted issues with flash in Firefox. NOTE: The flash may load the first few times the page is hit, but usually once the page is opened in a new window or tab it then starts to not load. http://www.findmotive.com/flashbug/ Screenshots and a test page which shows the bug can be found here: http://www.findmotive.com/2006/10/02/firefox-flash-bug-update/ Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. GO TO http://www.findmotive.com/flashbug/ 2. Click the "Activate Lightbox" link 3. Flash should display first time 4. Open URL in a new tab and click the link again 5. Flash usually does not display then Actual Results: The flash did not display the 2nd time when I opened the URL in a new tab. Expected Results: The flash movie should have displayed

Fixing bug 458100 might well fix this.
Depends on: 458100
Noah, Steve, would you mind retesting tomorrow's nightly?
