updated to latest ubuntu and firefox and java 5, still hangs
paul, is this still a problem for you with the latest version of Ubuntu and Firefox (assuming you've upgraded)?

I'm having this problem too. Happens in Firefox 2, and now it's happening in firefox 3 beta 4.
actually nevermind my last comment. i updated java, and i'm using the beta. it works perfectly now.

I'm using Vista 32-bit. Facebook works perfectly now.
