User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird version 1.5.0.7 (20060909)
Both Eudora and Outlook offer a very convenient feature lacking in Thunderbird: The abililty to edit to subject line a text of received messages. This makes it possible to annotate the body and make the subject easier to find.
Editing the message as new does not help because it creates a second copy and changes the sender to me.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Does not work at all in Thunderbird. In Eudora,
1. Click on the pencil icon.
2. Annotate the received message.
3. Save the received message.
