User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 If 2 or more separate windows (windows, not just tabs!) are minimized to the dock the file -> new window and command-N do nothing. If one or more windows are restored from the dock (made visible) the new window commands then launch a window properly. It does not seem to matter what website is loaded on the minimized windows. I have replicated this even with blank pages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open firefox 2.0 and load a page (such as homepage) 2. click the yellow "-" to minimize the window. 3. click file -> new window 4. minimize the new window by clicking the yellow "-" 5. click file -> new window (this should do nothing at this point) Actual Results: nothing happened. Expected Results: a new window should have appeared (containing a homepage or blank page) Running OSX 10.4.8 2GB RAM 1.25Ghz G4 other running apps: itunes, ical, mail, quicktime, finder, stickies

Tried File New window command. No response. Then Maximized window then tried File>New Window. Command responds. See my bug report 368094 which expands on this - the problem is much larger than just making a new window, NO menus work when all windows are in dock. Please vote on my bug report 368094 if you agree, maybe someone will pay more attention then...
I agree, this is the same as bug 368094. Closing this bug as duplicate (better description on 368094).
