User-Agent: Opera/9.00 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Build Identifier: Version 1.5.0.7 (20060909) When I unsubscribe the main inbox folder of my imap account the folder does not hide in thunderbird. I do not need to see it because filters move my mails into other folders and so it wastes an aera. Hiding those inbox folders would prevent the scrollbar on the folder pane. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unsubscribe the main inbox folder of an imap account 2. see that it does not hide in thunderbird 3.

If you are about to hide inbox your TB filters won't work, only if you have server-side filters.
Most servers do not allow you to unsubscribe the Inbox. It is a special folder.
