I will preface this with something you probably already know: I'm not a lawyer. I have to accept an agreement before joining a forum, making an account anywhere, or brushing my teeth, and it seems like it would be best if add-on developers knew exactly what to expect as far as what AMO will do with their extensions. I think an agreement should be displayed before each new add-on submission that states some things, such as: - AMO can modify any part of your submission if there is need - AMO can remove your add-on and the associated files - AMO can delete or disable your account - AMO can, but does not have to, mediate disputes between add-on authors (he stole my code/images/whatever) - Possibly have them agree that they will not post inappropriate text/previews or malicious software - Other stuff that shaver can probably think of best Also, I think we're violating COPPA by not making sure people are at least 13 before they create an account and give us their email address and possible real name.
On second thought, I'll put this in Policy until it's actually necessary to implement something we come up with.
