Veerakumar, Mugunth, I haven't seen a whole lot of progress on the tamil localization, at least there's none in our CVS repository.

I'd like to get an update on the status first, either here or by mail, whichever you prefer.

I am stepping in for the very same reason after long period of silence.

Veerakumar could not be contacted thro mail at all for the past few months. He seems to be in a dormant state.
So I have decided to take initiative and move the tamil translation forward.

Even though tamil translation is not moving forward officially, progress has been made else where. Tamil language pack has been updated in addons.mozdev.org till Firefox 1.5 version. Check https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2989/

The tamil firefox translations are also done taking help from tamil community check here: http://translations.thamizha.com 

Since officially not much work has been done, I am stepping in to help on this. So cvs request is crucial for me to take tamil firefox localization forward.

I like to keep the mozilla.org CVS updated with the tamil localization files once I get the cvs access

Hi,
I am Veerakumar.

Sorry for this "I was unable to work, because somebody spread a rumour that me being anti-social
and a criminal. I am son of a Scientist doing MBBS from a govt approved Medical
College (MAMC Situated at Capital of India - New Delhi). They cut the power so as I can't work and did other things to stop work.

Some vested interests are eyeing this Open Source Work "Firefox" for their
own benefits(May be Money)."

My previous update DeerPark Alpha 1&2 Bugzilla Bug 303897 is already posted. Axel could you update this
in CVS.

I am soon going to update the CVS and carry forward the TA Localization project.

Hi Veerakumar, Good that you showed up. Sorry to hear your personal problems. 

OK lets focus on taking the firefox tamil work. Whether you do it or some others do it. we need result. Firefox should have an official tamil build in next release. We need to collectively do what ever is required for that.

So its better to have at least 2 person( we 2) having cvs access instead of just one.
