When putting the mouse pointer over an icon a quick info is shown.
While costumising my XP desktop I changed the quick info apperance
to another background and foreground color.
Thunderbird uses new foreground color correctly, but not the background
color. By the way. Firefox 2 works well.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. change XP desktop preferences, "Quickinfo"

I am unsing Thunderbird standard installation (1.5.0.8) and no themes.

This is working for me with Windows 2000.
Summary: Quick Info does not take over Windows background color → Tooltip (Quick Info) does not take over Windows background color

I agree that this is a dupe. That bug states that the problem is with using themes other than Classic (qute), which is why I'm not seeing it.
