While costumising my XP desktop I changed the quick info apperance to another background and foreground color. Thunderbird uses new foreground color correctly, but not the background color. By the way. Firefox 2 works well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. change XP desktop preferences, "Quickinfo" 2. 3. I am unsing Thunderbird standard installation (1.5.0.8) and no themes.
This is working for me with Windows 2000.
